We had the best stay at Cranfield Retreat. Clare and Henry were such lovely hosts. We had the most relaxing time in the peaceful countryside, and the yurt was beautiful!! Everything was so clean and the bedding was so soft!! We had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for the most perfect stay. Aimee and Jack

You can NOT do better then Cranfield for country retreat. The Shepherds Hut and Yurt are amazing with alot of character. The surroundings are by far the best we've seen. The hosts Clare and Henry are so down to earth and fundamentally, the retreat is a good representation of themselves. Will be back soon! 10/10

Just got home from staying in the Mongolian Yurt. So pretty with lovely quirky touches. Bed super comfy along with great pillows and duvet. Lovely and cozy with the fire inside. Bathroom facilities, extremely short walk from Yurt, were clean and shower powerful and hot. Sunloungers comfy, hot tub bliss. Hostess Claire was just so kind and helpful and just lovely person. Beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend booking. Will definitely be back. Lovely, calm peaceful relaxing environment. Great weekend! Loved it

We recently camped here and had an excellent experience. The facilities were great with nice toilets and showers which were fresh and kept clean. There was a kitchen and living room again clean with nice touches like milk, tea and coffee to use. The owners were so helpful and kind and gave us blankets and a duvet when we said how cold we'd been on the first night. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic hosts, the yert was clean and so cosy. The wood burner kept us lovely and warm. Clean toilets and showers just needs a blind for the window when it's getting dusk. Lovely kitchen and lounge area too!! Will definitely return

Such a fabulous place to host my birthday party with the family! We even got the good weather we ordered. Loads of space for our outdoor games. Heard our first cuckoo of the season this morning from the shepherd's hut. The facilities are v clean and of excellent high quality. Everything in the kitchen area that we needed. Hosts can't be faulted, I would highly recommend.

We have had the most amazing stay in the Shepard’s hut. Claire and Henry are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond with all the little extra touches. The log burner in the hut kept us toastie all night long, the extra snuggly blankets and hot water bottles provided weren’t needed. The cart lodge/utility building was perfect for preparing your morning coffee, and evening meals, the underfloor heating was an added bonus and the toilets and showering facilities were immaculate. Watching the sunrise on this frosty December morning from the warmth of the Shepard’s hut was truly breathtaking. Can’t wait to come and stay again. Thank you xx
